As we continue to closely monitor the evolving situation with COVID-19, we wanted to provide an update on what we are doing at Bird Pick Tea & Herb. The health and safety of our customers and team members are top priority. We have been taking additional measures to ensure our work environment is safe, including daily disinfection of all surfaces, strictly enforced hand washing routines, and shorter business hours. Those who have the ability to work from home are doing so now.
We have also had a few concerns regarding the safety of our tea. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) there is no evidence to support the spread of COVID-19 through food. So rest assured that you are safe to enjoy your favorite cup of tea.
Our online store is still open, but all orders are experiencing a delay in processing and shipping due to limited staff and work hours, as well as any unforeseen delays with USPS and UPS. We will continue to do our best to make sure your tea pantry is stocked and keep you updated should anything changes.
