A traditional Japanese tea, this Fukamushi Sencha was grown on the esteemed Komaki Estates. In the grand tradition of making Fukamushi Sencha, tea leaves are carefully deep steamed to make the flavor mild and aromatic. This way, the astringency of traditional green tea can be suppressed so that its natural butteriness and fragrance can be fully enjoyed.
This tea is also said to taste delightfully toasty, nutty, and warm, reminiscent of fresh sweet corn in the summer.
Our Deep Steam Fukamushi Sencha comes from the "saemi dori" cultivar blend.
