Fukamushi Sencha is a traditional Japanese tea grown on the esteemed Komaki Estates in Kagoshima, Japan. Made from the "Saemi dori" cultivar blend, harvested leaves are carefully deep steamed to produce a mild and aromatic flavor. With a mild astringency, its natural bitterness and fragrance can be fully enjoyed at any time of day.

How to Brew

  1. Start with filtered water for the best brew.
  2. Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea for every 8 oz. of hot water. Adjust amount to your preferences.
  3. The ideal water temperature is just under boiling point, between 150-160°F.
  4. Brew this tea for no more than 1 minute.
  5. Sencha can be brewed up to 3 times. 
  6. Enjoy!
