Chai is a popular tea from India made from a blend of orthodox Assam tea leaves and warm, aromatic Indian spices and herbs, including cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and pepper. It's commonly enjoyed with milk and sugar, but is also great by itself.
This tea is made with orthodox Assam, which are higher quality leaves harvested by hand to get intact, whole leaves — small, young tea leaves plucked from the tips of the tea bush. The result is a delicate, smooth and flavorful brew than CTC Assam.
We also have Masala Chai CTC, which brews stronger, more robust flavors than Orthodox and is also great with milk and sugar.
